Principle of 12
Principle of 12, or sometimes called "P-12" for short, is Liberty's Discipleship Ministry designed to raise people up into their God-given potential and empower everyday Christians to become spiritual leaders in their families, on their jobs and in the Church. The ministry is divided into four, 10 to 12-week courses that include: The Journey to Freedom, Discovery 1, Discovery 2, and Discovery 3.
Classes are currently held on Sunday mornings. A new Journey to Freedom class begins about every three months. Read on to learn more about The Journey and The Discovery courses.
Step 1: The Journey to Freedom
The Journey
Then all the congregation of the children of Israel set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, according to the commandment of the Lord, and camped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.—Exodus 17:1 NKJV, emphasis added
The cross of Christ is the starting place where all true freedom begins. It is the place where each new believer begins his or her individual journey of faith. The cross is like a doorway: it opens to us a new and living way of life. With the cross in our lives, we learn to walk daily in its victory.
In Matthew 16:24, Jesus said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me” (NASB). When we do, we begin the journey of a lifetime!
The course called “the Journey” is a 12-week study that focuses on the victory that Jesus won for us on the cross and how to live out that victory in daily life. It consists of three main parts: (1) The journey to the cross leads us to freedom in Christ and deliverance from sin. (2) The journey through the cross empowers us to have victory over sin. (3) The journey with the cross teaches us how to respond to the call to be a true follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Step 2: The Discovery
The Discovery leads believers into a life-changing study of the Word of God that affects the way they see God, themselves, their families, and the ministry that God desires for them. The Discovery is composed of three terms, each lasting around 10-12 weeks.
Participants are challenged to develop a daily life of devotion and Scripture memorization. They also form special relationships with a small group of fellow students for mutual prayer and support. Most importantly, participants come to know Jesus in a deeper understanding as they become students of His Word.

Learn how to chart your vision and conquer your land for Christ.
The Discovery - Part Three: Reaching the Summit
Develop solid principles of leadership for a lifetime of fruitfulness. Learn all about the power and ministry of a team of 12 and the role of the Holy Spirit in making you a leader of leaders.
